PICS: LG is creating South Africa’s largest grafitti wall

If you’ve driven on the M1 South lately and say, your eyes wondered for a few seconds or so you would’ve been one of the lucky thousands to have noticed that LG Electronics is working on creating the largest grafitti wall wall mural in Jozi’s city centre for their next generation OLED TV’s.

We love LG for their fresh approach when it comes to product marketing; from taking over the biggest airport billboards and airport gantries. With this, the brand touches and remains in the consumers’ heart and mind.

““Dull, ordinary and safe marketing is being challenged by LG where we are constantly looking to engage with our audiences. LG’s innovative approach aims to expand the realm of the imagination and all visual dimensions.” said Thomas Van der Linde, General Marketing Manager at LG electronics South Africa when asked for comment.

Wall 2 Wall, an art and décor company known for designing and creating murals for offices and homes are said to have started working on the piece on Wednesday, 17 June with hopes that thy would have finished on the 22nd, 5 days later. While this hasn’t quite materialised as yet we couldn’t help but sneek a few pics of the artwork along the highway. See the images after the jump.
