Huawei Mate 7 vs Samsung Galaxy Note 4

I’ll let you in on a little secret: I didn’t look forward to reviewing the Mate 7. After years of underwhelming Huawei devices – which I never got my hands on – Huawei once again has a phone that people can be legitimately excited about. I spent only as much time with the Mate 7 as I do with my main phone. Mind you, I even had to transfer data from my main to the Mate while I have it for review. Its such a great phone that I have to keep it.

On the other hand, Samsung’s Note 4 is set to mount the biggest challenge to Huawei’s Mate 7 to date, so it’s only natural to want to compare the standard features, extra features, UI, camera, dimensions and proportions of the two. I found that a strangely difficult task with the press packs and standard PR talk provided from both manufacturers: Huawei still shy away from overselling their products to you. Only when you get a hands on with their device do you fall in love, and Samsung tends to worship their machines, well, because, they’re worthy of that much praise. So I have spent adequate time with both devices to get a real feel, hands-on productivity wise in accordance with the official specs. Obviously, this is the very definition of head-to-head review, but it’s a fun diversion for us to set the record straight. Follow the below links for reviews of each handset.
