WEEKENDER: Castle Lite Embassy hits Bloem

It’s not everyday that Bloem gets to host one-of-a-kind events (the Macufe craze doesn’t count) so when Castle Lite announced their exciting new Republic of Extra Cold campaign, its Embassy parties and what it was all about we had to get involved.

The Republic of Extra Cold – which a little birdie told us was curated to leverage with a rival light beer offering – will see Castle Lite transform Stanley Island near Plett into the ultimate summer party paradise on the 29th of December. With exactly a month to go, it was Bloem’s opportunity to get proper turn’t.

Upon arrival at Philip Saunders Resort we had to present our passports (check-in on the guest list), get searched, stamped and quizzed by immigration officials. We were then ushered to our very own Castle Lite retreat.

Sizwe Dhlomo, one of the Republic’s ministers was kind enough to play host for the evening (and allow for a photo op). And so the evening commenced. Addictive beats were supplied by Reason, DJ Speedsta, DJ Tuxedo, Prince Kaybee, DJ Shaxe and DJ Emjay and boy-oh-boy did they keep us on our feet!

Congrats to those that won the VVIP experiences to the republic and a huge thank you to Castle Lite for hosting us!
