Telkom Innovation Mega Challenge winners announced

Remember the Telkom Innovation Mega Challenge we told you about in August? Well, the winners have been drawn after what is described as a ‘innovative success’ where hopefuls had to present their proposal for technologies and solutions based on a theme of products for the future that will stimulate and drive broadband growth.

The winner, Ms Tabitha Bailey was awarded prize money of R120 000 and a free Telkom DSL service for 24 months for her winning idea of adaptive learning solution that creates a unique learning path for students to engage with educators and learning material on a digital platform.

Mr Rametse Mohasoa, was named the runner-up winning prize money of R50 000 and a free Telkom DSL service for 24 months, for his video surveillance technology proposal.

Papi Mabele
Tech enthusiast at heart. Lover of all things digital. Papi is the founder of SA Vibe and has been sharing his love for gadgetry since 2010. Papi sees no need for wearable tech in his busy schedule and considers the Xbox One as non existant. He may come across as bias at times, and still holds a grudge at BlackBerry for creating the 8520.
