As predicted, Samsung Galaxy S4 hits 10 Million sales in 27 Days of release

Remember this from last week? Then there’s this from just last month, and then this from the week before that?

All of that (the above) all took a place just a mere 9 months after the Galaxy SIII debut.

Samsung Electronics yesterday (23 May) announced that global channel sales of its Galaxy S4 has surpassed 10 Million units sold in less than one month (27 Days to be exact, yes we’re counting!). The device was globally launched on April 27.

This sets a new record for Samsung, and any other Android powered device, generating sales quicker than any of its predecessors. Sales of the Galaxy SIII reached the 10 Million mark only 50 days after its launch, with the SII occupying 5 months and the first Galaxy S seven months within release.

With this, Samsung is planning to introduce more colour variants to the Galaxy S4. In addition to the currently available White Mist (Which we have, thanks to Vodacom) and Black Forest, new colour iterations including Blue Arctic and Red Aurora (already available in the US) will be added this winter (our winter) followed by Purple Mirage and Brown Autumn.
