Boomer System

Well, not all of us, atleast here at SAfrica Vibe HQ, can afford the iPod – and subsequently the iPhone and iPad – meaning, we’ll have to do with our Android devices and maiden Blackberry’s. All good pocket-wise but on the downside, we do not have the wide selection and luxury of wireless docking stations with all sorts of ‘Airplay’ technologies.

That is where the Logitech z110 speakers come in handy, in fact, they’re a must. We conncected the z110’s to our Samsung Galaxy Note through its 3.5mm audio jack and USB for power (tad disappointing, but we managed). And everything we played from upbeat Pascal & Pearse to soothing Florence and her Machines and the sound just came across better and all sounded ‘fuller’. If you’re a bass junkie, no need to worry as these come with a bass boost too potent for 0.23kg.

Straightfoward, the z110’s are the ultimate in potable sound. You can conect to a laptop, traditional PC and music players. With styling that of distinctive Logitech suited for at home or at office (lucky you,if they’re allowed).

Key Features:

  • 2.0 Channel Configuration
  • Total Output of 1.2 W RMS
  • 2 Satellites
  • 83 dB Signal-to-Noise Ratio
  • 1 x USB 2.0 Port
  • 1.2 m Long Power Cable

At under R200, it’s no cheaper than your standard PC speakers but then these offer much more sound.
