Thursday marked the launch for the all new Nokia Asha series of smartphones. With only the Nokia Asha 303 available in SA stores at the moment, it sure is set to become a hit with those that want the features of expensive smartphones such as the Nokia Lumia 800 or the winner of the smartphone of the year at the Product of the Year awards a few weeks ago – the N9 – at a affordable price.

Launched at Arts on Main, This touch type device is packed with features such as the ever popular social networking connectivity (Facebook, Twitter), a 3.2 megapixel camera, super fast 1GHz processor, 3G connectivity, easy access to e-mails, MicroSD card slot (up to 32 GB) and a number of applications from the Nokia Store and access to your favourite tracks and albums on the Nokia Music Store
