Dear Phumla Matjila, here’s what I want to do before I die…

After reading your Big Read (The Times, 13 April) as you mentioned, I was reminded about the important things in life – thanks to Mrs Kennedy and her courage. Unfortunately due to the high petrol prices I can’t quit my job and venture out what I’d like to to before I die [quitting my job is one of those I would like to do, even before I contemplate on death]. But those I’d like to do are pinned as follows;

Before I die, I want to…

• Finish my Civil Engineering degree, I’m glad I didn’t but the guilt of letting my parents down and going for Marketing leaves me awake at night.

• Start my own business, I have tons of ideas!
• Reconcile and apologise to those that I have hurt.
• Tour the entire country with those that I look up to, sharing wisdom and faith with those less fortunate and that have given up on life.
Before I die, I want to live – with no regrets, boundaries and make the most out of each and every precious day
