Ian, The Incredible!

Over the past couple of years, it is with no doubt that South Africa has been booming with new talent. From Producers, R&B musos and Djs to dancers and actresses, 2011 has proved to be the year to shine! SA Vibe went out and found one up and coming muso in particular who has proven that he can do it with just a dream and a whole lot of determination. Ladies and gentlemen, I bring to you *drum roll* DJ Ian Credible!

All the way from Randburg, having studied Sound Engineering, Ian Morrison came into the South African music scene after he won the 2009 J&B Mix Challenge. His amazing talent on the decks put him amongst South Africa’s music royalty such as DJs Black Coffee, Fresh and Euphonik in a special album compiled by J&B. I mean, how much more proof do you need to know that the guy is dope?

In order to stay at the top as an upcoming artist, it is important to go out there and show what else you can do. Ian Credible appeared on the 2010/2011 South African Music Awards nominees list for a remix he made for JR’ Tequila song. Ian is also a sound producer for television commercials and radio. Just when we thought he just couldn’t be more “Incredible”, this muso is also a proud part of Dance4Life: Beat HIV, a campaign driven to educate the youth in South Africa about HIV/AIDS and an ambassador for Lily-TB Awareness Campaign in Africa. Charity begins at home, nhe?
What may seem like a simple dream, can turn into a reality with a little push. Ian Credible promises to stay in the spotlight and continue to take the S.A. music industry by storm. Ofcourse, we all need a little something “Incredible” in our lives.
