Black Gold: Welcome To The Family

Well on Twitter it might be a sin to be groupie, but I still stand firm on my word.. Refer to my post 'Black Gold Family… I already feel like a groupie'

I am OFFICIALLY a groupie! *not hiding*

As you read this I am still listening to their Album, witch I must say it is HOT!!. Their album was launched a few weeks ago at eKhaya in PTA, unfortunately I was unable to attend due to personal complications, but from the tweets and word I got from a friend (Tshepo) it was BLAZING!

They said it and I also quoted it in my previous post, these guys are certainly touching fans (me being one). With 'Cmon cmon' currently at No.17 at the 5FM top 40 chart and hearing them perform 'Break It Down' at the SYTYCD final this past week, this group is going places!

Boy-oh-boy Black Gold has some serious stuff… Their sound crosses the likes of Jozi – with their traditional laid back tunes but still has that urban beat to it. Tracks that I think you must look out for is 'Treat You Like Gold', '4U Mama' which is dedicated to that special woman in each and every one of us, 'Break It Down', 'Vuthela' and 'Summer Life'- a Hot summer tune that guarantees to be a banger this December.

My last words; Support local music and go get a copy of this hot album! And let's all be part of the Black Gold Family.
